Meet Paula Sitar, Director

 

Paula Sitar is the Director of Expanded Learning for the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD). She began her tenure at PYLUSD in August 1998. Paula's educational career has spanned over twenty-four years and she has been committed to the education and inclusion of all children, ensuring that the child is a life-long learner. 

 

Paula's public school career includes both teaching and administrative experiences. She taught at John O. Tynes Elementary School in PYLUSD for ten years, was an assistant principal at Travis Ranch Elementary School and Fairmont Elementary prior to becoming an Elementary Principal at Linda Vista Elementary School.  Paula was named the Expanded Learning Director for PYLUSD in August 2016.

 

Paula Sitar graduated from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) in 1997 with a B.A. in Business Administration and a Multiple-Subject Credential.  She furthered her education by obtaining her M.S. in Educational Leadership and Administrative Credential from CSUF in 2005.   

 

Outside of work, Paula Sitar lives in Orange with her husband, Matthew, and their two dogs, Bruce and Kaya.
